Right to Refuse
TWT has a responsibility to the bereaved child and as such we retain the right to veto stories that involve drug use, alcohol misuse, criminal activities, racism or any subject matter deemed to be of a negative or slanderous nature.

Accuracy
It is the responsibility of the contributor to be fair and accurate in the content they provide.
TWT do not undertake research or verification and will not be held liable for any content supplied.

Edit Reviews
This is a vital part of the project as it ensures the content meets the contributor’s expectations. One review consists of:

·       Content created and sent to the contributor

·       Contributor can make any changes to content but not add extensive new material

·       Contributor either approves the edit review OR returns any required changes to TWT

·       Changes will be made and the revised review returned for approval

·       Contributor approves the revised review

Typesetting
Entries will be typeset after the edit review has been approved.
The final typeset will be undertaken by TWT once all the contributors have approved their entries.
The final book typeset will be presented according to the quantity and type of content gathered.

Agreement to Complete
Contributor entries must be completed within 90 days

Cancellation
The project can be cancelled, and a full deposit refund issued, up to the point of the interviews taking place

Cancellation before the review has been sent to the contributor will result in 50% of the deposit being refunded.

Cancellation after the review has been signed off will result in retention of the deposit and the balance payment being cancelled.

Errors
Whilst TWT will endeavour to correct any typos or grammatical errors, the onus is on the Contributor when approving their edit review.

Publication
Books created by This Was Them are not intended for general circulation, and are for private circulation.
Books will not be issued with an ISBN.

Payment/Cancellations
A deposit of 50% is required for a contributor to be included in the contributing group.
The deposit covers the initial project set-up, and the first 5 contributor interviews and draft reviews
A stage payment will be requested for more than 5 contributors
The final balance will be due once typeset is complete, before the book is sent for printing.
Failure to make the balance payment will result in the content being removed from the final typeset.
